Your Farm Photoshoot
Just imagine for a moment taking a beautifully handcrafted album from its box, carefully turning each page to reveal images of a period of time before you were born. Images of your grandparents and their life on the farm - the old buildings, machinery, clothing they wore, the seasons (drought, flood), livestock, crops, farming operations and most importantly images of your grandparents and their children. How incredible would it be, to have this glimpse into their world, to sense of what life was like and appreciate the work they did establishing the foundations for the farm you have today?
Now you have the opportunity to create your own family heirloom - an incredible gift to your children and grandchildren.
From a Day in the Life through to the the Ultimate Collection we work with you to establish a coverage that tells the story of your farm and family.

Your Photographer
Hi There!
I'm Sandra, your farm photographer. When I moved to Mansfield from Melbourne in July 2017 I knew nothing of the farms that surrounded me. Overnight cattle or sheep appeared in paddocks previously empty, crops sprung from the ground, farming equipment appeared and the colours of the landscape were ever changing.
To bridge the huge gap in my knowledge I embarked on a personal project - The Mansfield Farm Project - where I photographed a cattle farm over a 12 month period. This incredible experience enabled me to gain a valuable insight into farming and farming life. From my first day capturing the calf marking, to riding along with Rodda checking the heifers, or sitting on top of hay bales, the back of the ute or on fencing in the yards, waiting for the sun to go down to capture the landscape or creating portraits of the farmers, I loved every minute.
I realised half way through the project that I was doing more than simply capturing some nice photos - I was recording a moment in time (albeit a 12 month moment) on the farm, its operation, landscape, livestock and most importantly it's people. These images, carefully selected and displayed in a handcrafted album would be there for future generations to enjoy. It was at that point that I decided to offer farm photography to other farming families.
Since the conclusion of the project I have been fortunate to photograph sheep and cattle farms and more recently a cherry farm.
As a relative newcomer to farming I capture your farm through different eyes than you own. I like to get in amongst the action without getting in the way and love new challenges.
Good communication is the key to ensuring the best possible coverage of your farm which starts from my initial farm visit where I get to know a little bit about your farm, its operation and your family.
I'd really love to hear how I can capture your farm so feel free to be in touch!
