Iconic locations are difficult to capture in a way that has not been seen before and Craigs Hut is no exception. I had low expectations of achieving a unique image when I had cause to be at Craigs Hut to photography a young family one Sunday afternoon. Even so, if I was going to be there anyway, may as well stay for the sunset and see what happens. The family session was incredible and I was in good spirits when I headed to camp to set up for an overnight stay. As the sun lowered in the sky I trekked back up to the Hut and was in awe as I watched clouds form and billow up from the valley - looking almost like plumes of smoke.
